Are you ready to unleash your true selves and embrace your unique identities?

Well you need to focus on embracing yourself FULLY. Whether you're a glitter-loving unicorn or a tattooed rebel, it's time to own it and rock it.

First things first: stop trying to be someone you're not. If you’re honest with yourself, you know it's exhausting anyway.

And let's be real, you're not fooling anyone.

The more you try to hide or suppress your true self, the more unhappy and insecure. It’s giving fraudulent because you’re trying to be someone else fam!

If Tik Tok didn’t teach us anything is that people love when you let your freak flag fly.

Embrace your quirks, your passions, and your style, and let them shine through.

Next up: surround yourself with people who celebrate your identity aka go out and find your tribe!

You don't need to waste your time with people who don't appreciate or accept you for who you are.

Seek out friends and allies who uplift and support you, no matter how unique or unconventional you may be.

We’ll be releasing a podcast episode soon on how to make friends as an adult (It’s hard out here fam!)

And finally, don't be afraid to take risks and try new things.

Whether it's experimenting with a new hairstyle, trying out a new hobby, or speaking up for what you believe in, taking risks is what makes life exciting.

And the more you embrace your identity, the more confident and empowered you'll feel to take those risks and chase your dreams.

So go ahead, embrace your identity with open arms. You are unique, you are fabulous, and you are worthy of love and respect. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

So, my BFF (the BFF is me Ericka the founder 👋🏾) had this favorite sweater that she loved wearing. It was super cozy & made her feel so confident. She would wear it all the time with her favorite jeans and head out to school feeling like a badass future boss.

One day, while she was walking into class, some guys started making inappropriate comments about her sweater. They said things that made her feel so embarrassed and ashamed, and she felt like she had done something wrong by wearing it.

She was so upset that she stopped wearing her favorite sweater altogether. She didn't want to draw any more unwanted attention to herself, and she didn't want to feel uncomfortable in her own skin.

I can’t be the only one that has a story similar to that- shoot me a reply and let me know if you relate to this.

If you struggle with letting other people dictate how you feel even what you wear, check out this article on our blog about having body confidence when changing your style.

Don’t let anyone make you feel ashamed for simply existing.

Stop caring so much about what other people think of you & learned to love yourself for who you are, flaws and all.

Wear your favorite clothes with pride!
Got a story you want to share about a time you let people run over you & what you learned from it, anonymously with the Baddie Brigade, shoot me a reply and I’ll feature it next Wednesday.

One Minute to Confidence.

So, if today was brutal, and now you’re sitting in front of your computer with ready to scroll mindlessly for a few hours before bed. Put The Phone Down. Your brain isn’t built to handle the insane amount of info that's flooding your feed every damn second. Every swipe you make is like a kick in the head to your poor little brain, forcing it to try and process more than it's biologically capable of handling. And let me tell you, this overload of stimuli can straight-up paralyzes your brain and messes with your motivation.

So, maybe it's time to put down the phone and give that brain of yours a well-deserved break, ya feel me?

Try it: Engaging in activities that add value to your life. Make a list of things you love to do. It could be as simple as a bubble bath, reading your next #BookTok find, or even taking a 10 minute walk to unwind for the day. Then, turn to that list like a cheat sheet the next time you’re thinking about spending hours scrolling.
